Perfection Unspeakable
September 23-October 23, 2005
At The Adrienne Theatre
Philadelphia
Two Angels question whether the gift of free will
given to Man is stronger than the will of Angels.

The language of Heaven is silence; the Angels
use sign to articulate their debate, manipulating
Man as chess pieces to enact their thoughts.

Using the lyricism of ASL, dance, and spoken
language- PERFECTION UNSPEAKABLE is a
dynamic work, flexing the boundaries of
ensemble theater.

A Staged Script in Hand Presentation
of
Breathing Ash

2006;  America is on the precipice of racial chaos. In the shadow of
the upcoming vote to re-ratify the Voting Rights Act, the President
manipulates a crisis of policy, a General wages war through the
streets of America, a Prophet subverts America's telecommunications,
a minister stumbles out of his community and onto the world stage,
and a son tramples the fine line between the just and the criminal.
"Breathing Ash" scrutinizes a series of coincidental events whose
outcome could lead America to the brink of self-immolation.

What do you do when you know you’re pregnant and everyone else
thinks
you’re not?

Paul, a struggling twenty-something actor, refuses to give up his
certainty to the skepticism of his doctors, his sister, and his lover.

Set in New York, Brooklyn, and the far reaches of the Midwest, farce
mixes fantasy, fear, and family into an investigation into the limits of
love.
